Description

Well, I found the program called Apophysis 7x. Heck, I can’t even pronounce it, let along figure out what the heck to do with it! I fiddled around for a while and came up with this. Not great like those others do, but I had to smile… after what took FOREVER for the image to render. Don’t know if I’ll do many with this program… I’m not sure I have the patients to wait hours for something to render. I started another one, but after 6 hours 42 minutes, with 5 hours and 11 minutes left to go… I killed it. I would tip my hat if I wore one, to all those of you who do such marvelous images with this program! People like the greatly talented Badsue and her work, like her Greengolden Flowers, and all those wonderful images by vxbob. Don’t know how you do what you do, but I’m awestruck by your work, and the wonderful work of all the rest of you out there. Thanks for viewing :)

Nice seasonal looking Flame. Sounds like maybe you are running the Render engine on single threaded instead of Multithreaded, either that or a Huge Size or way Oversampled or something. I rarely have an Apo take more than a couple of hours max and my machine is old and slow. You can always ask for help from me with Apo or MB3D in the Fractals Forum

nicely done, your comment about it taking forever reminded me that mine used to take forever when I zoomed in on the image. I don't zoom anymore; instead I increase the image scale and they render very fast in comparison.
