She has one foot in the waters of emotion, and one planted solidly on stable ground. She pours water from one hand to another, showing a connection between her conscious and subconscious thoughts. Finding our own balance is often a struggle. It is difficult to locate the middle ground in a world which frequently sends us careening from one extreme to another. In spite of the effort it takes, finding Temperance in our lives is worth the energy. Balance is ultimately a more comfortable state of existence, even if it takes a difficult journey to find it.
