Description

The little cuties are buzzing around their homeplace. About breaking old habits: Over the last weeks and months Ute and me discovered that we are moving in a circle,in a road wich consists only in one lane so to speak,i mean the commenting and faving. First i want to say that this community gave and gives us a lot of joy on a daily base,it has become a kind of “second life”,but i found myself thinking in the morning “now i have to do my comments” and i have to fav X because he/she faved me etc. Some people apologise when they are a couple days late on commenting,in wich i see no need. Commenting is not a must so you can never be late,it should be an honor to the “visited”artist that the “visiting”artist is taking his time to comment. And a favorite image should be a “Wow,Wow” ,photo, modelling whatever art, something that lifts you from your seat and not click automatically on the fav button. I do hope i find the right words,i dont want to offend,i just want to speak out what i feel, and i am sure some people think the same but are maybe “too nice” to speak out. We all come here to be in contact, even to vent on opinions and beliefs and this is a fine interactive plattform.lets keep it this way. The son of my sister told us facebook and other social networks are the same,i click i like on you ,you click i like on me,i congrat you for your bday ,but if i forget, you wont congrat me next year.,this is a bit childish for us adults i think. Lets do it this way, ”i want to do my comments to see what my friends have achieved”,and fav the one or the other work,i mean you cant have 30 favs a day because when you land on 30 you have forgotten +- 20 of the previous right??lol. Lets do what pleases us and not feel forced to visit, because that will take the fun out of the “game” of course when somebody visits me i do the same ,when someone greets me in the street i respond thats basic education and manners. But everyones time is precious and valuable, lets honor it. P3dart-blooming-gossamer,wildesigns/silver-gossamer,FW-kennedy/karissa,matcreator-eclypse,wolfie-adri-hair,

Well, I comment and fave what I really like. I never comment because I feel I have to. It is a courtesy to comment back, though, I think Rene.

Excellent image and great color choices on the outfits. Personally, I think the lady in orange looks very exotic! But that's just me :) I agree with your comments about automatic favs & comments, for me it is not necessary, I comment on what I like and I don't expect a return. I Favorite, what makes me go WOW! I visit yours and Utes gallery because they usually make me smile or think or even both :) I never rate, I don't feel qualified, I "usually" always remember to turn off ratings. I don't view or create based on ratings, I do it for pleasure :) I hope you two have a great day!!

A fun and light-hearted work, Bro! You have the wonderful ability to create works of any genre - they can be outrageous, they can be funny, they can be powerful, and they can be - how should I say it - 'fluffeh.' LOL. And they are all done in your unique Cyberdoc style. And you do have style, my friend. :-D Spoken (or written) like the true gentleman you are, Rene! I'm proud to call you my friend. I know my work seems to top out at 30 or so comments, and that's fine with me. If my art brings a smile to even one person, then it's worth the time put into it. Mostly I do art that pleases me - and if 30 other folks like it, then I'm delighted! Considering the quality of most of the art posted here, if I get one comment, it's an accomplishment! I know I tend to feel guilty if I don't comment for a day or so.... :-P I'll work on that! LOL!

I know what you try to say Rene ... But I never comment or fav. to expect something in return. In that way I have always been honest in comments and favs. ... I don't rate al the time: rating is for me a habit ... but in my opinion the rating has not a real meaning ... I try to express that in words in the comment. And although I appreciate all favs. but won't be mad if you don't ' cause I believe if not all my art is worth a fav to everyone. And as for comments: they make me smile :) - The reason I am not around that much to comment is because my daily regular work sucks big time ... It's making my life misserable ... that's why I am working my ass off in my spare time to get stuff in store. So I am truely sorry if I have let people down on this ... It's a personal life issue at the moment :( - But here's my HONEST comment to this picture: I love it when you enjoy my products ... But for the next time you and Ute DON"T purchase but ask!! wink Besides that I always have loved you and Ute creating art in your own style! And although I am not around that much : you two always make me smile :)

And btw, nice image :)

Really love those outfit colors/textures, Rene. Those words are quite true. Rating an image 5 for me is already a habit, so it comes along with the comment.

René, I'm sorry you feel burned out. I can understand your reasons, but I do insist that every comment or fav that comes in is quite welcome, and treated as a gift. When I comment someone, it is because I like their work or like them. Either way, its an "obligation" that stems from appreciation, not from some kind of bartering. If you aren't feeling up to it, or don't have the time, by all means, just don't do it. For my part, don't worry about commenting my work. I'll continue to comment yours regardless. Love you and Ute! ;-)

I agree with you and Ute on this pop in and comment when you have the chance but never feel obligated. I myself do favorite a lot of images (maybe not 30 a day but a lot) Each of those images has a copy saved on my PC and will appear from time to time as part of my screensaver. They are a great reminder of how much I enjoy the galleries and a particular piece of work from an artist. Fabulous image and I will be enjoying this one on a fairly regular basis...

Hear hear Doc, you hit the nail right on the head. You control the art, the art does NOT control you!! Top notch observations :)

I always check the galleries of those who comment, and leave a comment on any pictures that appeal to me; if I see an image I especially like I may choose it as a favourite - but I don't choose favourites automatically. And if someone is kind enough to choose one of my images but does not have any of their own, then I send them a "thank you" note. This is a very attractive image!

Fine comment, Rene - I just send Ute an e-mail about this subject which you two share. Mike's comment tells it further. You like somebody and feel good with them and comment also by this reasson - but it is also a sort of respect to show when somebody say "hello" to your gallery you respond. Art and common interests are also a door to other people, friendship and I really like a lot of people here, not only for their art but also for who they are. Uploads and little stories are a sort of comments in a different way about we think of, are concerned about and so on. Your often get me to think about something and to respond in words - and it is fine. I love many uploads for the artistry and beautifulnes but I also like an "edge", some controversy and so on. I belive a deeper thoughfulnes and humor are great partners!! A very fine scene and render - I interpretet it as: We are much more colorful and filled with much better skills than we think...
