Some of you know me as 3D newbie chemicalX here, but I decided to focus my gallery on my new passion in life - photography. I've been dabbling around in photography for a few years now and I've fallen head over heels in love with it. My partner, Shane, got me a Canon EOS 20D for my birthday and started me on a path of obsession! A path that I would like to share through this gallery. The chemicalX gallery will stay up to showcase my 3D stuff and if I do ever get back into it, I'll upload those things there, so keep an eye on that too. I appreciate any feedback I get, so if you have any comments or critique (be it good or bad - as long as it's done in a "civilised" way), please do tell me - it's the only way that I'm going to get better at this. Also, eventhough I don't say thank you to everyone on an individual basis, I do appreciate all the feedback and comments you guys give me. Unfortunately 'rosity makes it quite a mission to say "thanks" to a comment. So just because I don't thank everyone individually, doesn't mean that I am not grateful for all the feedback. Thank you to all of you. If you would like to see more of my stuff, you can check out my gallery on dA. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my gallery. Take care, Yak

The best thing about comfort zones is leaving them! I try to make a habit of that and in doing so I have learned one thing: Life itself is on HUGE comfort zone, but it's different comforts in different zones, and so the whole point is to just move from zone to zone and see what each offers. I also think things are more fun that way because of the new stuff you get to discover. And look at the result! This is really fantastic. I love the way you photograph people in a way that glamorizes them to a degree (but then, there IS that whole glamour photography genre) but then you go one step farther and actually show how gorgeous people are, so it's almost like you go so far into glamour that you actually go straight past it and back into human honesty. Does that make sense? Anyway, you've done it here. I really like this!
