Some of you know me as 3D newbie chemicalX here, but I decided to focus my gallery on my new passion in life - photography. I've been dabbling around in photography for a few years now and I've fallen head over heels in love with it. My partner, Shane, got me a Canon EOS 20D for my birthday and started me on a path of obsession! A path that I would like to share through this gallery. The chemicalX gallery will stay up to showcase my 3D stuff and if I do ever get back into it, I'll upload those things there, so keep an eye on that too. I appreciate any feedback I get, so if you have any comments or critique (be it good or bad - as long as it's done in a "civilised" way), please do tell me - it's the only way that I'm going to get better at this. Also, eventhough I don't say thank you to everyone on an individual basis, I do appreciate all the feedback and comments you guys give me. Unfortunately 'rosity makes it quite a mission to say "thanks" to a comment. So just because I don't thank everyone individually, doesn't mean that I am not grateful for all the feedback. Thank you to all of you. If you would like to see more of my stuff, you can check out my gallery on dA. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my gallery. Take care, Yak

Super! I love shots like this and I have to say that it's rather inspiring. I'm more of a writer than a photographer, truth be told, and so seeing a photograph like this makes me think of all of the stories that this image can tell: fantasy stories, displaced science fiction stories, psuedo-anthropological explorations, written as if by some dude like Jorge Luis Borghes (he had a habit of re-writing, and completely, playfully screwing with real history.) Anyway, after rambling, I have to say that this is a marvelous, fantastic photograph. Great use of the environment as well. This rocks!

It is so refreshing to see someone take what is so often now done in poser etc. and do it with a real life photography session.
