Taken the day we were at the Museum home of Sigurd Swane. A door from the house :) Have a wonderful Day/evening Early this morning we had a rain burst 14mm rain in a short time :) But all the day it was cool, changing clouds and blowing, but no rain :) Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

This is stunning! The peeling paint makes me think of snake skin or an insect shedding its old skin. Maybe this door is growing? The colors are really superior and I like the crisp, clean white. The spots of red and nearly-brown-red are really nice accents. This is very, very elegant. I wonder what's behind that door? I always imagine that doors like this are something of an illusion, because what's behind them is either another world, or a REALLY comfortable room full of books and music! They always look like they might be easy to open, with only ONE padlock, but they're probably more solid than concrete. I really love this shot. It's so elegant.
