Description

Yes I had a little play with some very odd kind of cucumbers. Little like an apple, yellow and full of sticky hairs. Have to shave and skin it before it can be eaten :) The only good about them is the difference :) But here I have mixed them with a picture of a very old door. :) Have a beautiful day. It is cooler today and it suits me perfectly. Still sunny and peacful though. :) Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

Excellent work manipulating this! I thought it was painted on the wood a long time ago. :D Very cool!

When I looked at the thumbnail for this image, I thought you captured some kind of interesting mushroom and then when I looked, I didn't see shrooms, but something else interesting...and you tell us these are cucumbers? WOW! I love the way you blended these two photos. I like this particular style of artwork (I've seen so many book covers with this effect used on their artwork, and so now I'm sure that there is a very interesting story that this image tells.) I love the textures of the flaking paint, and I'm really curious about those cucumbers now. I wonder if they are a cross-breed species, or one of those "designer" fruits that are so famous now. I like their shapes, and they way that they look like a natural part of the paint flaking off of the wood. It's almost like looking at a "ghost advertisement" painted on a wall or a window-board a long time ago. I like that effect. It seems a little bit mysterious.

I love the result you got with this! What a terrific image! I agree with Chip ... it does look like an old advertisement painted on those doors, and now peeling with age. Fantastic!
