Is she summoning up a storm or beckoning to the call of her other half? He is a 'storm god' named either Suugar or Maju and is serpentine in nature. I'm not entirely convinced he was a 'storm god' in the beginning, because some of his sigils look very much like what is now often acknowledged as cometary symbology.
Mari is associated commonly with black animals - mostly dogs and goats. She is also associated with the color red.
Anyway, you said you wanted to see more Alicia, so here you are! I think you may have been referring to Dame Hulda or Dame Holda as the other goddess of witches.

@Art: Yes, the Basques were about the last holdouts in Europe to Christianity. They have some interesting characters in their 'pantheon'.
