Hello dear friends!
For personal reasons, I will not be posting any more installments of my story. I would like to thank those of you who did follow along with it very much. I will still be posting pics :)
This is the vitrified dragon's egg Ruby spoke of. I created it using the Egg freebie here in the Free Stuff, using shaders in the Mat'l Room. It was a bit of a challenge, but fun.
Stand is from DMR 'Moon Cult' (DAZ), with a bit of modification.

Wonderful work on this one..looks so real....damn, i was just getting back into things from the story..and now your stopping it !!! UGHH !! Respect for your decision though my friend....as long as we don't loose you entirely, that would be a disaster of epic proportions.......as you would be sorely missed :-(

Wow - this is amazing, Ray! I almost expect to see a dragon break free at any moment. I love how you can almost see a baby dragon inside - those shaders must be amazing.... I really did love the story, and will miss seeing it, but I respect your decision. It takes a lot of work to flesh out the details, write, re-write, re-write again, and do the illustrations on top of that... I'm with Art, though - hope you can publish it at some point.

That's a great egg you created and I enjoyed reading how you created it. I like the textures and how you managed to impart a subtle glow from inside. This egg has a whole pile of dignity and magic. In fact it reeks of magic. I am sorry that the story ends as it does but I trust your reasons whatever they may be. This was one heck of a challenge to follow and it's why I did it in big chunks at a time. I can fairly imagine the challenge of putting it all together. And these epics do take a tole on the soul.
