Description

Mandelbulb3D Morning Cacti Frustrated trying to get a decent fractal while waiting for a program to download. When this came up, my first thought was of cactus in the desert (like where my wife Sasha and I live). I tried dropping in a background, but just didn’t like it no matter how I adjusted all the sliders. So, I created a solid RED 1024x768 image in Photoshop, then dropped that in and adjusted the sliders until it was full red, then saved the image. In Photoshop, I used the Magic Eraser to delete all the red in the background, leaving it completely transparent. I remembered one of my first Terragen images when testing the FREE version of Terragen a few days ago. I loaded that image into the background and added the lens flair. As I was looking at the image, on the left large section of the cacti, a slightly bluer area caught my attention. It kind of looked like a blue dragonfly (okay, I haven’t had much sleep, but it looked like a dragonfly to me). I smiled and said to myself, “Now all we need is a lizard to get that dragonfly.” I remembered a disk I have that has lots of insects and things on it, and remembered the lizard (iguana?), and loaded it into Photoshop, adjusted its size and position, and was finished. I’m not including the parameters for this one, since the fractal portion really isn’t anything worth keeping or using again. Hope you have a smile after viewing. Thanks for viewing and all the wonderful comments you have left for me, a newcomer to all this. I truly appreciate it!
