These fellows are CRAZY about Cornflakes! Perhaps Kelloggs should employ them as a test committee or advertising group! When they're done, there isn't much left for me in the box!
They turned 9 weeks old yesterday, and are still growing. Little Blackie is showing signs of being very intelligent! Beige shows signs of becoming a "big, fat, lazy wattie", while Whitey is still a bit "bite-y", but seems to be settling down. All 3 now readilly accept food from my hand (er, tooth pick - in case they become a bit too enthusiastic and forget their manners). Amazing how they have so different peronalities!
And, yes, they've discovered they have something called teeth and are now chewing on everything in their cage, including the metal bars. I'm wondering if they are haveing "teething pains"
Enjoy!
:)
(No nudity tag since they're all wearing fur coats!)

LOL..Excellent

Marvelous! I love little rodent people who bite! I had a friend with a pet rat who he'd carry around on his head, under a top hat. The rat in question was of the bite-y sort...well...he gnawed more than he bit, but was also quite affectionate, by rodential standards. I love these three! Wonderful!

Awww, reminds me of the rat my son had. She loved to travel around and was quite content to stay in my purse, occasionally sticking her head out to see what the latest place was all about.

I see that your babies are growing up. It's nice that they found employment. Feeding 3 kids is very expensive after all! Great picture and story. For those who don't know, rats like all rodents, have no enamel on their teeth. Their teeth always grow so gnawing is the only way to keep them trimmed.
