Description

All I have to offer currently in response to MrsRatbag's stellar series on big cats: cheetah, cougars, lions and tigers. Captured 11/27/11, early AM, on the grounds of a nearby apartment complex. A must ZOOM. Looks like a well fed and pampered Calico. Wouldn't you just like to run your fingers through that fur? I was meandering around the apartment grounds, shooting benches, when I happened to turn around and saw this beauty sitting and staring at me, probably wondering what I was doing invading its territory. I didn't dare approach the kitty, lest it decided to run off, so I zoomed in on it for this pic. Shalom, and have a nice day.

Oh, she's a pampered beauty indeed! Clearly she is the center of her universe. I'll bet she's really soft; I'd have talked her into allowing me to pet her, but then I speak fluent cat ;) Nice photo ninja work capturing her portrait without alarming her, Harry!
