Description
My humble contribution to the realm of repetition.
Eighteen meters/metres in all, captured 12/22/11, early morning, in front of a nearby apartment complex (but not the same one as from yesterday's cat shot).
Most ZOOM worthy.
Allaismalardik, and have a nice day.

love the play of shape after shape, love the perspective (that angled-back perspective gives these little meters a lot of moment and gravity, like a processional), the blue against the pale yellow/beige is wonderful, and you gave a nice swath of crunchy dirt, with plants, along with that wonderful textured wall. Another of your delightful portraits of repetition, texture and contrast; and the blue makes such a nice 'statement'. (One might say, this wall knows how to 'accessorize'.) I also like the out-of-sequence numbering...Classical shot, Harry, and fun, and very well composed.

That's a LOT of gas meters. One of the first things I did when I moved into my home was have the gas meter disconnected.

Cool image! :)

Interesting that the numbers don't go in order. I'm sure there's a good reason for it! Excellent find and capture, Harry. They look almost like a line of tethered aliens or giant padlocks.

Very nice capture. I like the POV very much.

I like your POV. We have nothing like this here...so its cool to see the other side of the Country I live in thanks Harry!
