Description

Will be up before the sun tomorrow heading for Yosemite NP and so decided to post a second today. This is an image of Bridalveil falls in Yosemite Valley from some years ago. I won't be doing the valley, but a hike from off Tioga Pass. Am considering trying the second highest peak in Yosemite, Mt. Dana (13,061 feet), but that will depend on the couple coming with and the kids. I have hiked a few over 13,000, but never tried such an elevation with the kids before. May stick with one of the many lake hikes. What ever the destination in Yosemite I'll be happy getting out of the city. A great weekend to all! Oooh, I'm jealous! We do not live that far from Yosemite, and haven't been there this year. Lots of things got in the way in our lives, and we are just beginning to see the end of it all. Maybe soon we can make it there. Don't forget to try Kings Canyon, just south of there (I think)...because it is just as nice as Yosemite without the crowds. Happy trails....
