Zlata, Meadow & Jasmine had decided to go back to the hollow tree where they had left Ruffle in the care of Harry Hare & think of a plan. "But we still haven't found Zwoggle, shouldn't we look for him?" questioned Zlata. "We know that Zwoggle wasn't at the shed when we got there so I think he went a different way & is ok & will find his way back." replied Jasmine. "I think & hope you are right." Meadow told her. So as Zlata shrugged her shoulders, she wasn't too sure about that but she went along with the other two. When they reached the hollow, lo & behold, there was Zwoggle. The friends were so happy he had found his way back safely. "Oh Zwoggle it is so good to see you, we have so much to tell you." cried Zlata. "I have a lot to tell you to. There are pups in a shed in a field. Oh this is Hippy Hazel & she has been looking afttttt." "Hey slow down." Meadow chuckled. "We know about the pups." Meadow went over to Hippy Hazel & introduced herself & the others. Poor Zwoggle was a bit miffed, they had stole his thunder by knowing about the pups. He thought he would come back & be the hero. After saying hi to everyone Hippy hazel told the friends about the pups & how she had taken a job looking after what she thought were happy pups living with their owner. Yes granted she thought there were a lot but just thought the lady liked dogs. It was later she found out that the pups were stolen & the lady sold them on for lots of money. Although they were well fed & clean Hazel thought they should be back with their proper owners & would look through the local papers to see if there were any lost pups advertised & if so she would take them to the address & see if they belonged there. "What a wonderful thing to do." said Meadow. "Yes very kind but how did you manage to do that without the lady knowing." asked Jasmine. "I know." said Zwoggle, wanting some lime light. "There were pups coming every few days so the lady didn't notice when one or two went missing." he puffed his chest out & felt so pleased as all eyes were on him as he spoke. "That is true." said Hazel. "I also had help from the good fairy, she kept watch for me." Jasmine looked upto where the good fairy was & smiled. "So I think you must also have kept a watchful eye on Zwoggle too." she asked her. "Yes me lovelies I did, in fact I kept an eye on all of you. Now we must get a plan sorted as we haven't much time the lady will be due back any day soon." she replied. Little Ruffle was still hiding in the hollow of the tree. Zlata assured her they had seen Spangle & she was ok & had befriended a lovely Labrador pup. Ruffle was so pleased & couldn't wait to meet up with her sister. "Right then, we had better get on & think of a plan." Meadow told them. So that is what the friends did, all putting some sort of imput in. I think it is going to be a long night.
