Only military personel, goverment officials, and lottery drawn winnners for general public got to be chosen to survive the outcome. about 2 million worldwide made it. The earth is 78% dry with dead lands, only 22% of lakes, oceans and vegetation land now exsist. oxygen on the earth is thick and plenty. a steady orange atmosphere creeps across the globe daily, sunlight in most parts of the world is only about 180 days a year after the meteor. Suppy ships that were bought from cyberdoc industries before the crash carry cargo and building supplies to rebuild on the surface again. small meteors pass by a few times a month and sometimes strike with little force. military police are used to keep order with the public. everybody works to earn their keep and rebuild above ground to form a new america.
