Hi. :))))) How are you? I am still tired after a great weekend of music. :))))) Yesterday I got caught up on laundry and a few other things around the house. :)))))) I am taking it easy today until I start fixing fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner. :)))) Okay I will tell a little about the weekend I had. There were so many more people at this years R&R festival. :)))) This image wasn't taken until Saturday afternoon. :)))) People were from one end of state street to the other end the whole weekend. :)))) I think it is amazing that the city closes down the whole street for music, and fun. :)))) It was kinda late when we got to the festival on Friday. :)))) Our daughter, husband, and Miss Sophie came to pick our son up on Friday so he could spend the weekend. :))) Well Nana lost track of time while holding Miss Sophie. :)) Okay I kinda forgot there was even a festival. LOL!! Miss Sophie just has that way about her. :))))) At one point while holding Sophie I looked at my husband and he was giving me the look that we needed to be going. LOL!!! :)))) So we soon left. LOL!!! When we were looking for a parking place I heard beautiful music and I so wanted to be rite there at the moment. :)))) After we parked we then joined many, many others enjoying the sweet music of the festival. :))))) Now on Friday nite I got to see the band "City and Colour" and oh my goodness how great they were. :)))) Their music has a way of touching a soul. :))))) They were so polite and honored to be playing in our town. :)))) I want to say a big Thank You to "City and Colour" for sharing their gift of music. :)))) I learned while they were in town that they are from Canada. :)))))) You know I had to buy their CD. :)))) It is great from the beginning to the end. :))))) They were the last to perform Friday nite and wow what a beautiful way to end the nite. :)))) We saw our friend Scott while there but he was off doing his own thing. LOL!!! Now he did show up to listen to City and Colour. :)))) For a minute I thought he had left, and he peeked around the column I was leaning up against to let me know he was still there. LOL!!!! He said they are good aren't they. :)))))) I said yes they are wonderful. :))))) I really hope he didn't hear me singing to one of their songs. Oh well if he did bc I was enjoying myself. :)))))) I am now setting here listening to their song "Natural Disaster". :))))) I do not know at this time how many people were at the festival but I am waiting for the figure. :)) After we left Friday nite we then went to Taco Bell. :))) After we ate I then went to bed and slept like a baby. :)))) We went to the festival earlier on Saturday. :)))) I wish you each could have been there with me. :))) You would have so enjoyed yourself. :))) There will be another R&R festival next year. :))) If you wish to come join you may. :))))) There is a most sweet story to tell, but I will have to wait until I post an image of the band "Elephant Revival". They were so sweet and awesome. :))))) How was your weekend?
