Description
Hi there. :)))) How are you tonite? I am doing very sweetly. :)))) I woke at 5:30 to feed george kitty, and to wake my son at 6 for school. :))))) While my son ate his breakfast we watched the "The 70's Show". :)))) At 6:50 my son was off to school. I was off to bed again. LOL!!! I slept til 9 and after I got fully awake I started working on laundry. I then put a pot of tea on to boil. I washed georges food bowl. I put clothes in the dryer and then began cleaning the small bathroom. Before I cleaned the potty I went and folded up the clothes and put them away. I then made a pitcher of sweet tea so my son could have his favorite drink. :)))) I then went back and cleaned the potty. LOL!!!! After the small bathroom was all clean I then went and cleaned the big bathroom. :)) I then vacuumed the whole house. I take that back bc my son vacuumed his two rooms. Thank you Cody. :)))) After I finished I then went and took a long hot shower. :))) After my shower my husband and I then went to the grocery store. :))))) I have to say that we had take out for dinner tonite. LOL!! When we finished eating dinner we noticed that Survivor was coming on so we watched it. :))))) It was pretty good. :)))) I mite watch this whole season. :)))) LOL!!! Was your day busy? If your day was I hope all went very smoothly. :))) Lets all just set back, relax, and let our minds drift. :)))) Okay I should tell a little about this image. :)))) I want to introduce you to "Elephant Revival". While at Rhythm and Roots on Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting the members of "Elephant Revival". I have to say they were extra sweet in person. :))))) I shook hands with Bonnie Paine which plays the washboard, djembe, musical saw, and stompbox. I also shook hands with Sage Cook which plays banjo, guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, bass and fiddle. When Sage reached to shake hands the first thing he did was ask my name. Bonnie also asked my name as we shook hands. As I was talking to Bonnie I told her how much I loved the song "Point of You" and she said that they mite have to play that song for me. :)))) They did a 1 hr show and when it came down to the last two songs I heard Bonnie say this song is for the sweet lady I met earlier and she loves the next song we are going to do and it is "Point of You". Laura this is for you. :)))))) I had to leave my sunglasses on bc big tears filled my eyes. My chin also started to quiver. The reason I left my sunglasses on wasn't bc I didn't want my husband to see me tear up, but I didn't want Scott and his wife to see me tear up. Scott and his wife were setting rite beside of me. LOL!!!! Scotts wife tapped me on the arm as the song was being sung and said there's your song. :)))) I looked at her and smiled. :)))) Bonnie that really touched my heart and it meant the world to me. :)) I am so thankful you all came to our town and blessed us with your alls gift of music. :)) I hope to see you all next year. :))))) After the show was over I went up to the stage and thanked Bonnie ever so much for dedicating that song to me. She said she was glad I was there to hear it. :)))) They left to go back to Nederland, Colo after having an autograph session down the street. :))))))) That was such a heart touching day that I will remember it forever. :)))) That is the first time a song has ever been dedicated to me. :))))) I will name the members from left to right. Sage Cook on banjo, Dango Rose on double-bass, Bonnie Paine on washboard, djembe, Daniel Rodriguez on guitar, and Bridget Law on fiddle. :)) I wish you could have been there with me. I want to say thank you ever so much to each that looked, commented, and rated my last image. :))) Before I go for the nite I want to wish each extra sweet dreams. :)) I wish your tomorrow to be filled with special moments, sunshine, and many warm smiles. :))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))) Nite, Sweet Dreams :)))

This looks like it was a lot of fun; there's a particular magic to music when it's played live, and even better when a particular song is dedicated to you! My favorite group, Dead Can Dance performed in Chicago, but I missed them! Ugh! Oh well...I bring that up because there's always a particular feeling that goes along with live music and feel sad for people who have never experienced that. This is a really nice shot. It's good you got a personal dedication too!

Oh, what a nice story! I bet you had a really good time. They look like they make great music together! You'll think of that every time you hear the song, and isn't that lovely? :) Great shot of the band. Nicely done!

Great story and I'm glad it all made you happy! Now I'll have to try to track down that song because it is not familiar to me.

I think, I would have teared up as well - if there was something dedicated to me! This memory will live with you forever and how good is that? Not to mention 'live entertainment' - the best! ;) May there be many more beautiful moments like this in your life, Isabelle - BTW I also like the TV show: 'Survivor' - the next one 'Philippines' is to start here in Australia soon ... ;) BB
