Description

After a good nights sleep, a lovely breakfast & a whole lot of talking the friends were all ready to set off back to rescue the pups. Mrs Bonga told the friends they were very welcome to borrow Neddy the donkey in the backfield & his cart which was behind the house. They were very excited about this & Zlata & Zwoggle did have a little bit of an argument as to who would drive the cart. Mrs Bonga told them that they should take turns & it wasn't as easy as they believed it was going to be. Mr. & Mrs Bonga were staying behind with Ruffle & they were going to look through the papers & lost & found adds in the shops to see if anyone had lost a pup. They would then get in touch with them & if the friends were successful the Bonga's were going to invite people round to see if their pups were there. "Off you go dearies, Mr Bonga & I have lots of work to do we hope to see you back soon." Mrs Bonga told the friends. So off they went to hopefully rescue the pups. When they arrived, after quite a slow journey as Neddy kept stopping to eat grass, the good fairy was waiting along with Hippy Hazel, they had hoped the friends would come back with a plan so they had made sure that the pups were all fed & watered early ready for their rescue. They were surprised when the friends turned up with Neddy & the cart & after a quick talk about the plan they got to work loading the pups. As the cart was quite small they decided they would have to make quite a few trips & after the fourth one, Zlata & the friends were getting tired & a bit despondent that it was taking so long. So they all decided to take a short rest as they wanted to get finished before dark. "I wonder what the smelly lady will say when she finds all the pups gone?" Jasmine asked Hippy Hazel. "Not our problem as we will be long gone & hopefully most of the pups will be back with their owners & unless she wants to make a fuss, she can't do much as she stole them in the first place." Hazel replied. So after a drink & a rest the friends got back to work. Wonderful work once again Barbara, this story is simply adorable. Love you're depiction of them saving the pups with their happy faces. Just hope Zlata and the gang can hold out long enough to rescue all of them.

Wow what a wonderul chapter. They all seem so happy to help the puppies. That's quite the cart Neddy is drawn to. Now hopefully they will rescue all the puppies before the smelly lady returns. Really looking forward to the next episode.
