Description

Well, it has been 4 months since I first started 3D (this model was finsished two weeks ago). I've been so busy with college orientation I haven't had time to post it till now. Took 11 hours to render in Rhino 2.0 and contains over 6000 lofted curves, 12 lights and a 6000 shadow map. It is a series of renders composited in photoshop. My computer couldn't handle rendering this thing all at once. It crashed near the end which is why the area where the rod meets the bottom area is blurred. As always comments and suggestions are welcome, especially since I will be making a Fire, Air and Earth staff to go along with this one. Hope you like it! (By the way, the image is much higher quaility but was over 400Kb so I had to optimize it.)

TK, this is great, your chains dangle just the right way, and the scribing is awesome. I'm not fond of the water area, but that's just an opinion, and a tiny nitpick to boot. Good luck in college and keep this stuff coming!
