Description
"Be a lamp unto yourself. Work out your liberation with diligence."
~ Buddha (Prince Gautama Siddharta)
Releasing what we most love can fill our hearts with joy when we see their precious souls liberated in flight.
Background rendered in Vue 10 complete, Foreground rendered in Poser Pro 2012, composition and postwork in Photosop CS6.
This is for the September "landscape portrait" challenge at RDNA. The main challenge was just to create a portrait that was wider than it was tall. The "master's" challenge was to use a cinematic aspect ratio and to incorporate actual landscape. Now, I'm not a master's level participant, but when I read the rules, I was immediately struck with an image in my head. The cinematic ratio and background fit my idea anyway, so I just went with it, lol. And, for the first time, I completed a challenge image without having once looked at other images in the gallery. Now that it's been submitted and I can see what others have posted, I'm again entranced by the things people imagine!
