one of my all time fave show from the 70's, i even liked it more then Rod's Twilight Zone show.
he always had a cigarette in his hand as he explained the two paintings and their titles for the show.
painting one: what's in the Basement
A curious young intern at the soul asylum mental hospital creeps into the dark corners in the basement at the run down and aging mental hospital, her curiosity is about to give her more then she expected.
painting two: Medusa
Stumbling upon an undiscovered ancient mytholgical site, a archeology team finds the legendary medusa still alive and is about to discover another truth from her real beauty, curse and the legend.

nice presentation and I liked that show as well my favorite is the one with a young Rodney Mcdowell being haunted by the changing painting on the wall showing his dead father rising from the grave and coming back to the house to avenge his murder

I also think that Night Gallery was way more creepy and intense than Twilight Zone, both are great shows =) This is absolutely magnificent, Steve, one of your finest scenes to date, imho~ Most excellent!
