Description

I went again with my students to the Botanical Garden "La Laguna" and found this old friend. You may remember him from my post "Green Iguana". Fortunately, this time I carried the Canon XS and the 75-300, so I could take his portrait. Fortunately also,he´s apparently deaf, because the screams of the girls when they see him have done escape to any animal, although he had weak hearing. In fact one Cotuza, a relative of the Capybara rodent, got the shock of his life to hear them. He fled with such terror that she may still continue running.

superb telephoto shot. the detail is outstanding. I get very uptight if I have to listen to children screaming for any length of time. I would run and hide also
