Lovely shot mate.. I think I only saw about 5 butterflies this year in the U.K. Awful really.. Saw a good few in the U.S. though.. Shots I did JUST manage! lol Well taken, more? Rob

Jeff, the compositions great and the color of the butterflies is fantastic. I don't remember seeing any of this type of butterfly on our trips to the farm.

How amazing to catch two in the one photo, they must have really loved your wall flower. I have been very pleased with mine too as they have become big with just a mass of flowers for weeks.

This is a lovely pair of specimens. I love their splayed wings, as if they're advertising something to someone: well, maybe not in a commercial sense, but at least in some nice form of visual communication as only some insects can manage. Of course they could just be sunning themselves while feeding. This is a great shot and I love the colors and the patterns of color. Wonderful focus.
