For some reason, this reminded me of this little ditty from Alice in Wonderland: "The sun was shining on the sea, shining with all his might: he did his very best to make the billows smooth and bright – and this was odd, because it was the middle of the night!" I applaude your photography skills Jeff, for not getting a washout with all that sun!! Nice capture of the beach :)

I have never gotten the concept of putting one's boat on shore like this...seems the underside and weigh would ruin a hull rather quickly. But it does make for a lovely photo. :-)

Wonderful POV and capture! :)

This is a great shot. I love the sunlight and the reflection of the sun on the water. The whole scene brims and percolates with life, and I'm rather surprised to see boats of that particular size on shore. I suspect they must be lighter than their appearance would imply, but then boats like birds, by very definition, must be lighter than they look since they spend so much of their time not sinking and not plunging downward. I love the sense of scale this has and the layers of interest from the beach itself, to the boats, the water, and the hints of really interesting cloud drama going on in the sky.

I love this view. :))))) I have a favorite boat here, and that would be the sixth one from the left closest to the water. :))) Is the one I am talking about a tug boat? It really doesn't matter bc I love it anyway. :))))) My friend this beach is so beautiful and it makes me want to go for a nice boat ride. :)))) Most excellent capture. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))) Love the sweet sunshine in this image.

Love this shot looking into the sun the water is really sparkling. It does look to be a very popular place with all the boats, big and small.
