Been going back thru some older fotos and found this one. Huntington Beach, part of the fence that protects nesting birds.

It actually doesn't look that beachy at all. I imagine a fence somewhere in the wilderness, all snow over it, forgotten by everyone. Beautiful mood½

Brilliant! I have so much catching up to do! We have similar "bird nesting" fences in the Chicago area, including one on the beach in my old Rogers Park neighborhood, and it looks kinda like this, only that atmospheric look we get is something that snow produces here. This is really wonderful. Nicely atmospheric. Brilliant.
