Description

I'm back and finally posting again. Was in eastern Turkey for two weeks and London at the beginning for a day and the end for a week. Turkey was tough this time with the hostilities and the generally more remote and rugged part of the nation. A village right next to where I stayed was shelled by Syria a few days ago. But for now let's focus on a more peaceful part of the world. My tales of Turkey will be told over the next few months. This is a backalley lane called Cornwall Gardens in Chelsea/Kensington, just behind the hotel where I stayed in London. Shot on a cloudy and cool autumn evening, I like the way the HDR pulled out the greys and greens. This image took a real serious beating, though I reduced it by 30% I still had to only have 61% quality. Oh well.

What a great capture of this beautiful street. I like it very much, especially the wonderful colors.

WOOOOOOOOW! This is absolutely stunning despite the quality loss you described. A beautiful and peaceful scene.
