Description

Well M4 finally joined up! New desert duds for Micheal: 3 shirts ( undershirt, pullover & Officer), new ammo boots with toe&heal taps & hobnails, New webbelt to fit M4, new Service Cap, new hose & puttees. Bombay Bloomers, KD Shorts & Trousers although UV'd are not yet textured (simple tan textures no detail). Did some mats for army corps & divisional shoulder badges. Added some shoulder titles & cap badges, also did some officer & NCO ranks. The facings around the pips signifies which army branch the officer belongs to: red for infantry dark blue for artillery etc... Still have quite a bit to do for the webbing, the x-straps have to be readjusted & the all the webbing gear has to be re-positioned to fit properly & I had to create new ammo pouches to fit M4. Will need to rework the officer cap. It is definitely coming along. The desert rats moniker was given to all the troops who fought at the battle of Tobrouk, the 7th armoured div already a div shoulder patch with red gerbil on white facing to later become red on black so the Desret rat name stuck to the 7th after the battle. Used panko's SMLE & Webley revolver from HM Service Thanks for looking

I'd say it's 'coming along' extremely well Luis. Again it's all in the detail and you have it all here. My M4 is gonna be a very happy soldier :)
