I am on the second book in this series "Wheel of Time" called "The Great Hunt". They are hunting for the Horn of Valere (obviously). In the book the horn is fancy, Gold, and curled with an inscription of "Tia mi aven Moridin isainde vadin" on it. Way cooler than the one I have here but this is the only horn I had so...lol Anyways, I got this outfit for M4 yesterday and decided to use it here...Rand in the book wont allow himself to believe he's higher status than just a mere Sheepherder, you will have to read the book if you want to know more, but he's learning quickly on this great hunt what is really within him he'd never imagined. I used to read Jordan's stuff when I was much younger... (okay, I've never been young, but I had to try...) but having read some (and still having some in my collection), this gives me pause to consider... should I re-read.... damn straight I should... thanks for the reminder that there's more to life than pixels!

I've heard a lot about this series but never gotten around to picking it up. You recommend it then? I'll see about giving it a look maybe. Reading The Hunger Games t trilogy at the moment but they're dead easy to get through.

Wow a great set of books to discover. I am currently reading the last book and waiting for the final book to come out. It is sad that Robert Jordan died before he could complete the series. Fortunately he left copious notes for was new writer picked by Jordan's widow to complete the last 3 books. I think you will enjoy the series, I know I have.

Yes, I have seen these books you speak of, the series fills a bookcase doesn't it! lol ;-) But, I have heard its good series as well, that does get better..
