Description

This huge Maple tree is one of the many trees surrounding my house...most are pine and a splash of white birch, but none are ever as beautiful as this one in the Fall. I took this picture squat down as close to the ground as I could get out on my back lawn in the rain one morning...I am sorry for my power lines in the way. But to show how far 'off the road' I live, that second pole beyond the front one is on the other side of the road leaving my driveway. Yep, my sister (lunchlady) and I live out in the boonies! Enjoy! Thank you for all the clicks, comments, and favorites on my previous upload folks...and for the new book/author recommendations from a couple of you from my last post. lol

Beautiful tree! We are blessed to also have two of the Red Blaze Maples in our yard. They are glorious! Ours haven't started turning color yet, but will soon.

Such a Beautiful Capture Rose!...Shame this past summer I had no choice due to the storms that I had to remove far too many of these beautiful tree's from folks yards.Years of beauty in the making to only come to an end with one of mother natures temper tantrums.Though I promised those that their trees would be used in my wood burner as payment for removing them as I could not see adding a cost to what appeared to be an already sad situation on there part.We that live out in the boonies know the benefits of being away from all the hustle and bustle..I share in your solitude as I too love the boonies and wouldn't want it any other way! ~Smiles~

Nice colour this tree has gone, my folks had one huge maple tree and it was a pain when it dropped its leaves, so many to mow over lol.. They had it cut down a few years back as it was split down the trunk and was threatening to fall on their house..

Phantastic POV, clarity, reddish color and silhouetting in this awesome capture, performed on your tummy and in the rain, Rosie! When I saw the title, I wasn't sure if you were going to show a tree or your furniture, LOL. And, I didn't know Lunchlady was your sister. I thought she lived in the UK.

What a beautiful tree this is and it makes a great splash of colour. A super capture of it. It is lovely to have so much space around your house that you can have these big trees.

Marvelous! Here in southwest Florida we have two seasons, green and brown (though the latter only lasts about 4 weeks).

Wow great capture. I live in the boonies too. Just pine and aspens on my property. The aspens have yet to turn, but expect it soon. Song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn8YubD01sk
