Description

Now many may think the camera was set on continuous imaging in order to get the action, that would be a misassumption. Getting these with a 300 mm in focus for a single(hand held) frame was challenging in itself, let alone multiple split second frames. Mentioning this because I clicked to soon, and missed getting the "smack down" captured. "Trouble's" tenacity earned him a slap on the head finally, and finally "Trouble" went on his way. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2374253.jpg

"Gonna smack you up the side o' the head boy, if you don't leave me alone!" You can see the flipper poised and ready to strike :) Great capture Dana!!

LOL. Oh too cool. I thought the one up on the rocks was going to plop on top of Trouble and drive him under the water. He must be smarter than me. Why go through all that when a smack upside the head will accomplish the same thing? :) Fun series!

Terrific action shot. I was puzzled by Trouble's actions since there appears to be room for him elsewhere. I'm wondering if this isn't a male/female thing.

What a shame you missed the smack but it is a super clear capture anyway of all this action. The birds aren't taking a bit of notice.
