Description

My WWI airfield continues to grow, it appears the 'Hun' have dug a bomb store....what are they up to....???? more to follow... The men from Heineken Cellar Services are coming to the Bowl tomorrow...I have to supervise the installation of new beer taps.....this will require holes being cut in the counter top for the beer lines.Cellar Services don't cut holes! just in case they bugger up the counter and get sued....so guess who gets to play with the jig-saw...I've been called many things in my lifetime, but never a carpenter!...so no beer and an early night I think.....must remember to take my camera with me tomorrow......

Well done Neil, nice airfield scene, love the hangars & repair shops. Careful with the "B" word, or the Huns in the Sun will be taping you for some B.E.E.R.... ;0)

A nice addition to the airfield. A drill with some forstner bits would probably be better for holification of the counter top.

Be interesting to hear the outcome of your experiments with the jigsaw. WW1 airfield coming along nicely.

Great work on the bomb store mate. As for the cutting, the last time I tried to slightly trim one of our kitchen worktops I go so carried away it was a trip down to Homebase for a new one :) So good luck with that buddy and look forward to seeing the pictures.

Cool POV employed in this one. Looks pretty modern for World War I. Or even WWII. And good luck on the beer project.

Looking good! One advantage of getting the holes done and installing the beer: You get to test the beer! ;-P Corrie

You don't do it, we don't have the beer! And.....Heineken is not beer, its Pi....oh sorry, Larger! LOL But have fun with that mate.. Take pics, so we can all have a giggle at the prunes not working... Rob

Oh, I thought it was a hide-out for Tailspin when the Krauts come in for a beer or two, er... a strafe or two! Or perhaps it's a shelter for the beer in case enemy planes or personnel should happen to show up for an uninvited booze binge! Or am I drunk again? (Too much Guiness is as bad as no Guiness at all). And, as Rob suggests, bring the camera so we get to see your great job on the bar counter. Do you use a jig-saw for that? I thought nice round holes drilled with a big drill was the way to go. Good luck with it! :-)

Looks great- it seems one of the fighters is also propped up having its guns sighted-in if I'm not mistaken...
