Description
This will probably be my last image posted until no later than Monday 22 October 2012. I will be in the woods, starting tomorrow afternoon, with a couple friends, camping and hunting. While I don't expect to get anything, I will gain some valuable experience which I feel is long overdue. I wish you all a wonderful and creative week to 9 days. I will check in tomorrow morning but after that.....

and yes, I will be taking my cameras with me. (do you really think I would pass up this photo-op?)

superb capture Mike! To be truthful, I really hope you come back with tons of photos and no dead animals, but that's just me. So, wish you luck out there, and hope the weather is awesome. Enjoy the peace of the wilderness & and fellowship of your friends.

This is a beautiful shot! I love the way the mist picks up subtle colors from its surroundings. The blue edges fade into soft pinks and yellows. There are bluish grays where trees are almost completely obscured in the distance. Excellent captures of the trees. I like the center section where there are many layers visible going back in the distance. Beautiful colors, detail, and textures.
