Description

I thought I'd post this very colourful tree/shrub to announce my return to 'civilization' such as it is..... it was a fun trip, even though I did not get my deer. but that is okay! there's another chance later on. I took 240 photos while I was up there. Basic information: 16 miles north of Carson, Washington, on Secondary Forest Road #65, about 150 meters from the 4 Corner junction of SFR #65 & SFR #60. This photo was taken on the way up to Crest Camp (2 miles from the junction and 800 to 900 feet ABOVE it). Whenever I went out by myself, I walked and I put a lot of miles on my new boots as well as my Wellies. I'll tell you more in later postings On another note, it took me almost 8 hours to get caught up with all the postings. Take care and enjoy Thanks for the comments and faves! WOW! Beautiful shot Mike! Looks a lot like New Hampshire there. My little brother, who lives next door, is a BIG TIME hunter. Has done it for MANY years. He recently got deer number 50! He has gotten 27 with a bow and 23 with a gun. Come hunting season he practically LIVES in the woods, LOL. He has also taken out about 50 coyotes over the last 11 or so years. Keep at Mike. You'll get one.
