Description

The King was furious when he got the ransom note from the Ogre. He stormed around his reception hall in a rage for the longest time. Finally, his necromancer arrived. 'What shall I do, advisor? My heir, Prince Calvin, has been abducted by an Ogre! No one has ever dared to steal a child of mine before! Here is the ransom note!' 'You need to calm down first so you can see the light of reason,' said the necromancer in a calming voice. The effect was immediately visible on the King, for all the tension drained from his face and you could see he was ready to listen. 'Before you go storming into the Ogre's dominion with a large army, as was your first inclination, I suggest a more devious route. Using stealth as my shield, I will penetrate this Ogre's abode and find out exactly what we are up against. I am familiar with this particular Ogre. I recognize his handwriting on this note. I have had dealings with him several times before. In the end, I have always outwitted him. I see no reason why I can't do it again this time.' 'Alright, Arrik! You have my blessings to try it your way. But I will want some sort of progress report on your findings. Can you devise a method for that?' 'Oh yes, your highness. I have passenger pigeons that can carry messages back and forth to me wherever I am. They are under my protection and can't be harmed when on one of my missions. They will deliver any message I give them to you as well as deliver any message you wish to send me.' 'Very well, Arrik! Proceed at once with your plan!' M4 and Apollo Max characters. Mmmmmm, I think the wizard should resort to fireballs rather than wits in his next (repeat) encounter with that troublesome ogre! Look forward to the next part. Also Radders, the king looks like he has a bad case of "Camel toe" Couldn't resist that one mate :)
