Description
Some years after taking the picture in Linebacker II the B-52 was updated with some new electronics, still wearing SIOP camo.

A very supreme shot...when I was in the US Air Force and my base had alerts, I have to dress in full combat gear and guard one of these B-52's until the alert was called off...the longest...3 straight days of staying awake...pure insanity! Anyway, a great photo and the light and composition is just great!

Beautiful scene and modeling. They had one of these outside the gate to the Air Force Academy for years. I do not know if it is still there.
