Description

... than the sheep... ...are the golfers! 6th hole at 107-year-old Dunnerholme Golf Club, atop Dunnerholme Rock, a lump of limestone the sea hasn't been able to claim, Cumbria, UK. One for the purist rather than the faint-hearted, especially with a 40mph "breeze" coming off the sea ;) When the tide is out, the rock is surrounded by sand on three sides and is a haven for numerous birds & other wildlife. Well, at least we know it's the 6th hole and not some dune buggy coming up the rise at 40 mph. Anyone who could golf there is more hardy than I! Nice shot Steve!
