Description
This is a photo I took last summer of a candle standing on the teacher's table at the front of the class room where I teach. The bright sun, the dark background and the extinguished candle got me to thinking about the perfection of the sun's light versus man's feeble attempts to copy nature. Attempts which often come to an end.
I could also have named this post more abstractly, like "Life and Death" - the flame in the candle having been extinguished, just like life when it comes to its end.
I think the photo speaks a lot, so I won't say anymore.
