Description

The latest volcano update is that things are inflating at Kilauea. Lava lake levels at Halemaumau are high and more activity is seen at Puu Oo crater. With the continuing inflation means more lava to the Kalapana area. You can view or monitor the lava by "live webcam"

It's too hot not to cool down! The boiling caribou head-shaped lava makes for great contrast against the dark grey of the old stuff, Errol.

Another great capture but I think I would be staying away from this place until it calms down again. Our volcanos gave a bit of a spurt last month but they seem to have calmed down again. We were all thinking they were going to 'blow' but thank goodness it was only a little eruption. Nothing like this lava.
