Description
About a week before the first Space-X Dragon made it up to the ISS, I have been obsessed with the moon landings. I have been making different models of the Saturn V/Apollo. I started with a 100% true scale high res model; of the F-1 engine... About 20 hours in, trying to make a fuel pipe, I had to reset and go low resolution in order to get anything done. These are from my low res model. On the left is the F-1 engine. 5 of these on Stage 1. Center is the J-2 engine. 5 of these on Stage 2 and 1 on stage 3. On the right is the Command Module. The space capsule that carried 3 astronauts to Lunar orbit and back. Simon is there to show size of the gizmos... Engines modeled in Hexagon, rendered in DAZ|Studio 3 with uber environment light.

You should see that F1 engine up close and personal..... The thing is HUGE!! Saw a disply model at KSC many years ago.. Dang - you did these in Hex??? All I can get it to do is crash.... Sweet work!
