Description

You know how it is when you know someone well, and you see them exhibiting a characteristic that is so ... well ... so characteristic? This image does that for me. It's totally Chip. I think it's the position of his hands. I'd know this was Chip even if I hadn't taken the picture myself, even if you didn't tell me it was someone I knew.

fabulous high key. This type of shot has that touch of expressive art which I think is very representative of Chip. Excellent work.

This is a super shot! I remember that day, perfectly, as if it just happened yesterday...or at the most remote, the day before yesterday. I love what you've done with this. It has such a nice high key, hyper-real quality to it, and it's funny seeing me from this side of the lens. I definitely think we need more days like that one; I feel the ghost-taste of Diet Coke, grapes, and Pecan Sandies. That and Flip Wilson and Read Between the Lions popped into my head. This is super! It's such a fun shot and a marker of such a fun day!

A great image. It has a vintage look to me, like something from the thirties. Even the camera fits. Wonderful postwork.

Extraordinary and unique, like the man himself. I do love the way the image locks into the left corner with that rightangle, complemented by the repeating verticals..such skill.

It's those mannerisms and behaviours that we register subconsciously that enables us to identify someone even without seeing their face. Like how you can pick out someone you know from a crowd just by seeing the back of their head.

Tara, you are 'da spindoctor' - I like what you have done with postwork here, it's unique, it's organic, it's candied, it's wicked - 'ad infinitum' ... a truly sensational composition, BB
