Description
Some unexpected upload issues interfered with the original posting schedule. But hey: even as this final image appears, it's still Halloween in parts of the USA. And the skull in the image is intended to represent November 1, which is All Hallows Day: The Day of The Dead.
So how will the world end when the ancient Mayan calendar that has been accurately keeping time for thousands of years inexplicably runs out of dates some time around the Winter Solstice in 2012? What is Scenario #1?
And a Dark Future Waiting For Me!!!
And Thee as well, probably. Which means I don't know. Nobody else really knows either. Most folks who believe this stuff will be relieved to find out a few days later that they are wrong.
In the book of Matthew, Chapter 24, The Great Teacher is asked by his disciples to predict The End of The World. He tells them to pay attention to certain signs (some of which were featured as scenarios). But as for the exact date and time, he can't say-- because only The One who sent him knows that. There was an implicit lesson in his response, and it's wise advice, no matter what kind of religious background you have or don't have. Act toward all people during your lifetime like The End, or at least, Your End, could come at any time.
