Description
The day was still early when Andaerean did all he cared to do. Family was informed, arrangements were made and he decides he'd like a few moments to himself to 'reflect'. Not entirely to himself, that is. How fortunate for him that both his best friends were with him just the day before and stayed with him the day after.
'Are you alright?' Castien asks.
'As well as I can be considering the situation.' He answers listlessly.
'Did she even tell you -why- she's been keeping all this from you? No offense, but that seemed rather selfish of her.'
The elf shakes his head. 'She's my mother, I trust her. She kept it from me for a reason.'
Castien makes a face and mumbles something about Andaerean being too trusting and naive. 'Still, why tell you now? Why dump that heavy a load in your lap now?'
Andaerean shrugs having no desire figure out an answer. 'I already told you, I trust her. I trust her without question because she's never given me cause to think otherwise.'
Lanear offers him comfort in her own way as she fondly picks at the stray, loose fibers from his clothing, but really she was finding any excuse to touch him.
