Description
Captured 10/30/12, early in the morn, less than a mile from my hallowed haunt.
A ZOOM is particularly necessary in this instance.
Five of a total of forty-eight pics I took of this phenomena. Ordinarily, on an overcast or sunny day, these webs are virtually invisible to the passerby, but on foggy and/or drizzly days, they stand out like the proverbial sore thumb. These shots were taken under foggy, moist conditions, with the itsy-bitsy, teensy-weensy droplets having created gossamerlike effects on the webs, spun by single minded, goal oriented, itsy-bitsy, teensy-weensy spiders. The webs are also present on our condominium bushes. I have never seen the spiders themselves because they are so minute.
See ya, and have a nice day voting tomorrow.

Wow, so many of these webs....I am surprised at the total lack of spiders and webs I have seen this year.

A wonderful collection of these spiderwebs and they do stand out beautifully with the moisture. Superb clear captures.

These are amazing, Harry; excellent captures of these moistened web blankets!

Wonderful photos. I like how this series starts out set back and seeing the spread of all those webs, then progressively closes in. Very cool!

Excellent capture of this complex network of webs produced by itsy bitsy spiders. Just waiting for their prey . Great capturing mother nature's tools for survival of the species.

Great capture Harry, this is all-too-familiar a sight

Superb photos, Harry! The makers of these often live underneath their webs which makes them hard to spot.
