Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Wonderful shot, Mike. Looks like Amanita muscaria, to me. Promise you won't eat them :)

Very nice shot of these shrooms.

I don't know squat about mushrooms so I steer my kids and myself clear of them. Even back when I homeschooled my two oldest boys. Trees were our big thing in the wild to explore and learn about. Now I did teach them some varieties of mushroom are deadly but that's about as far as we got. Beautiful shot though I agree!

Wow! And I've never seen one of these growing around here...I'd have shot them before I harvested, though ;) Wonderful load of bellyaches there!

Yes....those are "not" poppy seed like one sees on a hamburger bun...One could see a child thinking this and picking them off thinking they were...Over the years I have taught my kids and now my grand kids the difference between the ones you can and cannot eat...Nice of you Mike to do what your doing so others don't have the opportunity to find out the hard way... (smiles)

Yes! Those are some REALLY deadly mushrooms, I think I know what they are, 'Fly' something.. Begins with A .. Not much help huh? But yes, DO NOT EAT!!!! Good shot! Rob

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I LOVE MUSHROOMS!!! Tasty! : ) Cool shot Mike. Looks just like the mushrooms we have here in NH. If you know they are poisonous, you must know what kind they are?

I saw the one of the middle dancing in Disney`s "Fantasy", he looked innocent and sweet kid. I never dreamed that he would become a murderer, when he grew:) Seriously, good that you remove them. Take care and wear a mask, too.

Mushrooms grow fast = REAL FAST, so I hope you sprayed some killer.... when I cleaned the grounds at my old job, I was amazed in one day a mushroom the size of a softball would grow - ONE DAY - WOW.... Oh, you better make sure these aren't the "drug" mushrooms, you would not want to get busted harvesting them and I don't think they'd listen to you try and explain - ya know what I mean? stay safe.
RodS
Yeah, those look like some nasty customers, Mike! I like a good bit of mushroom in a salad, but I'm not familiar enough with them to harvest them myself in the wild. I've heard absolute horror stories about mushroom poisoning.. A great and colorful photo of this box of shrooms, though!
bakapo
yeah, death in a box right there... good work cleaning them up.

I have never seen those kinds before. The one looks like a 3d model I have though, lol. I wouldn't know what is or isn't bad for you. But I dont' eat them either or anything else.

A splendid mix of those Amanita muscaria, Mike! Her it's forbidden to pick mushrooms. I love your selection very much!
