A most attractive place indeed. It has certainly lasted well, that wood must be strong.

The weathered textures of this building are beautiful and looks like they are still expecting company, the door's open and the two of them are looking out the studio window, can't read what the sign in the window reads. Didn't know how the color and texture of Koa wood was so beautiful, did know how strong and enduring that wood was. Would like to see the view looking out from the front of the house. To see what the artist saw at their retreat. Great shot and historical info.

Always think of metal roofs like that in snow country. Could appreciate a retreat like this. :~)

What a feeling of peace, I would love to be able to have enjoyed a place to do watercolors. Even if it is just to paint the cabin. As always a picture capture!

A lovely old character building! I didn't know Koa could be used for that purpose, of course longevity depends on the bacteria and such that invade it and it looks like it is doing quite well!

Like a painting, it is! Great ambience in this shot of the time tested cabin, that would look right at home in the midwest of the USA,
