This artwork is part of my huge 2012 Xmas Gift Art Project. I'd very much appreciate any feedback you may have as this is a gift for a friend (whom I haven't given it to yet) and I want it to be the best it can be before I print it. Thank you! I created this fan artwork for my friend Sammy Samm Sam and I am creating two artworks for her since her birthday is also in December. She's quite the Harry Potter fan and is the one that made me watch the movies (for which I'm grateful because they are awesome movies!!) and tried to get me to read the books (I just don't have the time!). I think her favorite character is Snape but she recently lost her cat and can't have any pets in the dorm so I thought an artwork with Crookshanks would be to her liking. I hope I'm right! I was fretting over the fact that my fur painting skills aren't quite what you would consider "skills" just yet and Crookshanks should be quite furry. Luckily at the eleventh hour I remembered Poser's dynamic hair capabilities. Artwork idea saved! It took a while to figure out what I was doing and then to get the fur configured correctly then I had to get the materials looking right but I did it. Yay! Special thank you to my friend Jean-Luc and his wife for their help, advice, and nitpicking on this artwork! That reminds me, I said I'd send them a copy of the finished version....
