Description
Just to refresh memories this is a second attempt to stand on top of the amphitheater rim. Have ascended most of the elevation gain I would be able too in this image. I ran into a much different landscape then expected.
It turned into a sandstone maze pretty much. Long corridors like this one would have breaks in the wall leading into more corridors. It really was not the terrain one would expect up here!
(a little perspective note) At the end of this corridor, in the notch you can see a bit of the mesa on the other side of "The Wake".
