Description

Pictured here is Chimney Rock, which is located in Ghost Ranch. We took a 3 mile round trip hike to a point right opposite the top of the rock (the elevation at the top of the trail is a little over 7,000 feet). Beautiful views all along the way & it's easy to see why Georgia O'Keefe was so inspired by this landscape. Ghost Ranch is currently owned by the Presbyterian Church, but they welcome all visitors warmly with no religious proselytizing at all.
