Description
the toys, the trinkets, the stuffed animals... the kewpie dolls for those of that age... known as slum... because of where they were made.... and are still being made... cheaply made thangs that capture the heart of your date... win one of these... fine, but as you walk down the midway... you get the chance to trade up... a smaller item can be traded up for a bigger item if you win the next game.... and a better chance to capture the heart of your date...
I was going along, taking the pictures when an older carny tried to get me to play... asked "what would I do with an armful of slum?".... he just smiled, I got the sign, he moved onto a new pair of rubes, a young couple.... the boy trying to win the stuff...
